Reliable evaluation service

This isn't my first time with Earn2Trade. I've used them before for a 100k Gauntlet Mini, and this time I went with the Trader Career Path. They've been consistent with their rules and platform stability across my orders. The process for both evaluations felt similar, which I appreciate. I keep coming back because I trust their system, and I've had success getting funded with them twice now. It's a solid option if you're serious about prop trading.

Detailed look at my TCP experience

I signed up for the Trader Career Path Junior a few weeks ago. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, no hiccups there. I got access to the Trading Dashboard fairly quickly. The NinjaTrader License was provided, and setting it up with the Rithmic Data Feed took a little bit of time, but their guides helped. I appreciated the Beginner Crash Course; it laid out the rules clearly. I had a minor issue with my charts not loading correctly one morning, and I used their support chat. It took about 30 minutes to get a resolution, which was acceptable. The rules for the evaluation itself are quite strict, but transparent. I'm still working through it, but so far, it's been a professional experience. The Journaling Software integration was a nice touch for reviewing my trades.

Good for learning futures

I tried the 25k Gauntlet Mini last month. It was pretty cool for getting a feel for futures trading without risking my own cash. The platform was easy enough to figure out. I didn't pass, but I learned a lot.

Good value for a prop firm

I was looking for the best deal on a prop firm and decided to go with the 200k Gauntlet Mini during a flash sale. The discount I got made it really affordable compared to other firms I looked at. The value for the potential funding was excellent. I haven't passed yet, but the program gives you a fair shot for the price paid.

Decent program, some issues

I purchased the 50k Gauntlet Mini. The educational materials were helpful, and the trading simulator worked well. I passed and got funded, which was great. However, I found their customer support a bit slow to respond to my questions about the withdrawal process, took almost two days for a reply. The overall value is there if you put in the work.

thinking about trying Earn2Trade but also looking at Topstep. how do they stack up, like pros and cons of each?

A Adam D. 1 month ago
Earn2Trade feels a bit more structured for learning, especially the TCP. Topstep is good too, but sometimes their rules feel a bit stricter in the evaluation phase, or at least they used to.

S Sofia 1 month ago
I went with Earn2Trade over Topstep mainly because of the flexibility in their evaluation process. Topstep felt a bit more rigid to me, but both are solid. It really depends on what you're looking for in terms of rules and how you trade.

anybody know if they do student discounts or anything like that? Or maybe a referral bonus if I get a friend to sign up?

R Ryan Roberts 1 month ago
I haven't seen an official student discount, but they do have referral bonuses sometimes. Keep an eye on their emails or social media.

Not sure about student discounts specifically, but they definitely run referral programs occasionally. Also, always check for general promo codes, those pop up a lot, especially for the first month.

What happens if I totally blow my account during the Gauntlet Mini evaluation? Do I just start over and pay again?

W William Robinson 1 week ago
Yup, if you hit your trailing drawdown limit or break a rule, the evaluation is over. You'd have to pay for a reset or start a new evaluation from scratch.

B Brittany Roberts 1 week ago
Pretty much. It's a fail and you gotta either reset (pay for another chance) or re-enroll completely. That's how these prop firms work, gotta manage risk.

I'm in Chicago, how long would it take for the data feed to actually start working once I sign up? Like, is it instant or do I have to wait a while?

M Melissa Jackson 2 weeks ago
Once you sign up and pay, the data feed usually activates pretty quick, within minutes. You just gotta get your trading platform set up with the Rithmic details they send.
2
O Olivia F. 1 week ago
Should be almost instant for the data feed itself. Your Rithmic login details usually hit your inbox super fast, then you're good to go once you plug them into NinjaTrader or whatever.

Does Earn2Trade actually pay out real money, or is it like, play money? Seems too good to be true for some of these prop firms.

B Brandon King 3 weeks ago
They totally pay out real money. I've seen guys in the discord post their withdrawal confirmations. They use a legit prop firm for the funding.

J Jeff Johnson 3 weeks ago
It's real money, not play money. The whole point is to give you capital to trade with. Just read up on their withdrawal rules, cause there are some hoops to jump through, as with any firm.

hey, trying to decide between the Gauntlet Mini and the Trader Career Path. any big differences I should know about?

P Patricia Robinson 1 month ago
Yeah, Gauntlet Mini is more like a single shot, pass or fail. TCP is more structured, like levels you progress through. It's kinda designed for different styles, I think.

K Karen R. 4 weeks ago
Exactly. I did the TCP, felt like it held my hand a bit more, which I needed starting out. Gauntlet Mini is for folks who are already pretty confident in their strategy.

Are their trading lessons actually helpful or is it just basic stuff I can find on YouTube? thinking about doing the advanced ones.

J Jacob Jones 2 weeks ago
I found the beginner crash course pretty useful for getting started, definitely more structured than random YouTube videos. The advanced stuff, I think, depends on your current level, but it's not bad.

A Amanda Phillips 2 weeks ago
The lessons are decent, especially if you're somewhat new or need a refresher. They tie directly into their evaluation rules which is helpful. Not groundbreaking, but better than piecing together info from a million different places.

How long does it usually take to actually get a funded account after you pass one of their evaluations? Is it pretty quick or a long wait?

S Susan Williams 1 month ago
My buddy got his funded account within like 3-4 days after passing. Pretty fast if you follow all their instructions for setup.

A Alex Gomez 1 month ago
Yeah, I think it depends on how fast you complete the paperwork. Once that's done, it's usually just a couple of business days for them to set it all up and get you trading live.
